My birth is not my Fault

The praxis of burying daughters in the South Asian countries specifically and majorly in India still continues. It takes a lot to bury any of your loved ones but engraving the one who has just taken a few of her breaths is more than inhuman and disastrous. What agony the buried has been through is simply unimaginable. A question that withstands here is at what fault the many little souls are being demarked with such a punishment. Imagine who gets inquired regarding the gender choice before being sent up to this universe? Howcome a tiny soul can be stormed for filling in your lap being a girl but, not the boy. Without a doubt, daughters are the most beautiful and captivating creatures on this earth. Their birth is simply meant to be cherished and blossomed the whole of their lives but imagine what level of ignorance could force you to bury a newborn just because the gender was not of your desire and choice.

No religion, nor any nation in this entire world can ever support such kind of brutality and inhumanity at large. There are always the people in the smaller number who because of their bewilderment become a reason for the shame of the entire community, nation or country. Just a few weeks ago, a case was reported from the Northern India where a man while burying his own deceased daughter finds another one buried alive under a grave nearby. A man while graving her own piece of heart founds an overthrown little soul. This obviously sounds more than ridiculous that who in this universe will have the heart to bury a gift of God in such an inhuman manner alive. This is how the country having a population of more than a billion still has the people who are absurdly traumatized by gender discrimination. This is extremely worrying that a nation with such a huge number of the population still has the approvers of the female infanticide. It is of the opinion that a country like India has a lot of broadcasting and transmitting resources if they really eye and intend to work on to reduce this threatening level of ignorance from their society. This needs to be focused and focused on an immediate basis as well.

How absurd is this that burying the mesmerizing creature like daughters in modern India is not an unknown practice to many till date. The Indian government is in immediate need of initiating a nationwide campaign regarding the importance of the gender 'woman'. In the past few years, we have seen the Indian film industry and the Indian government empowering the women but the issue of 'burying the daughters alive' specifically needs the attention it deserves because empowerment is for those who have survived to be born and raised in a country like India but this goes for the ones who were engraved being declared 'culprit' for their own birth.

Are You a Super Woman?

To all the women out there, have you ever imagined to be called a "Super Woman" for something you have no role or power to play in or have you ever felt ridiculed for something you would never have been able to change?
In most of the South Asian countries, a woman who gives birth to the gender male possesses the way more pride and value in comparison with the one giving birth to the other. Now, the question that a sane mind must ask is that how a woman can be declared superior for something she didn't do and, at the same time, how the other one being rewarded the lesser respect and dignity as both of them took the same suffering to bring a new living being into this world? No one will ever have the answer to this question that on what grounds this is being done but the dilemma in our patriarchal society goes on even in the 21st century. A lot has evolved with the passage of time in these countries but sparing the school of thought in a few regards. Blaming a woman for giving birth to the non-desired gender is ridiculous and an open example of high-end ignorance.

Another fact is that women have been considered a soft target in ignorant societies from the start. The pressure on women to give birth to boys has been immense since ages. They are beaten, threaten to be overthrown, being forced to allow their men for another marriage, and also divorced in the name of giving birth to the female gender. Men who believe that women's particulars are responsible for the gender of the child are in immediate need of learning that the chromosomes of a female body have nothing to do with the gender sortition in the whole process.

Our patricentric society needs to acknowledge and appraise the role of women in everyone's life. It is essential to appreciate the gender that has brought every living being into this world. Over the past few years, the situation for women has slightly improved in terms of their rights, appreciation, and worth but there is still a lot to be done to bring them to equal rights and acknowledgments as men.
